Qualifications

• I hold a B.A. in English and B.S. in nursing (I understand both technical and creative writing).

• I hold a certification in editing from Poynter and the American Copy Editors Society.

• I have years of experience editing articles and books as well as writing content.

• I’m an avid reader of all genres, but I won’t hesitate to stop reading a book if it’s poorly written (I know good writing, and I know how to make your writing better.)

• I’m experienced with AP style and Chicago Manual of Style.

• Being a poet, I’m a skilled bender of rules.

• I have a diverse work background––ranging from legal and medical to the arts, teaching and nonprofits––so I can knowledgeably edit anything you give me.
